CONROE, TEXAS (April 16, 2025) – The Conroe ISD Attendance Boundary Committee has been meeting this spring to determine the feeder zone for Timber Mill High School, which is scheduled to open in August 2027 in north Conroe. The zoning of Timber Mill will affect several schools in the Conroe High School and Caney Creek High School feeder zones.
Prior to the opening of the new high school, the District will open a new Conroe-area junior high in August 2027 and an intermediate school in August 2026. There are currently three scenarios under consideration for the high school, four for the junior high, and two for the intermediate school.
Community Feedback events were held in March, and the virtual session can be viewed here. There are two Community Presentations this summer -- a live virtual session on Tuesday, June 10, at 6 p.m. and an in-person session on Thursday, June 12, at 6 p.m. at the Walter P. Jett Teacher Training Center.
Community members can learn more about the Timber Mill High School feeder zoning process, see maps of proposed scenarios, submit feedback, and submit their own scenarios by visiting: https://www.conroeisd.net/o/cisd/page/timber-mill-feeder-zoning-process.
