Shattered Lives

CHS will be hosting Shattered Lives this spring.  This program is designed to stress the consequences of poor decision making by having students create their own scenario regarding their death. The design of the program heavily involves parents. The program is designed to impress upon teenagers that death is very real for persons their age.  Participation in this program ranges from spectating to actual recreation of accident scenarios.  It is limited to 80 students actually participating, while the rest of the 11th and 12th grade classes will be spectators. This program is designed for 11th and 12th graders and is only offered every three years.  Our goal is to create a real-life simulation of possible events as our students enter the prom and graduation season.

A parent meeting will be held March 26th at 6:30 p.m. in the CHS auditorium with a follow-up participant parent meeting April 9th. The event will be April 23rd with grade level assemblies on April 24th.Please plan to attend this important parent meeting on March 26th.  Click here to visit the Shattered Lives website.
