CHS Prom: Diamonds are Forever

Diamonds are Forever
Location:  Lone Star Convention Center
Friday, May 10, 2019 at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets – $75.00.  Tickets sales begin during all lunches May 6th – 9th.  All fees and fines must be settled before purchasing a prom ticket.

Seniors need to pick up the permission form in order to leave school early on the day of Prom.  ONLY SENIORS WHO PURCHASED PROM TICKETS MAY LEAVE!!

Guests may not be younger than a freshman in high school or no older than 20 years of age.  You may apply for special exemption to this rule with the principal or her designee.  You need to sign up for an interview in the Tiger Den with Mrs. Lindley no later than Monday, April 29th.

Dress Code – see Prom Expectations for Dress Code.

No backpacks or large purses will be allowed.  Administration reserves the right to search all bags/purses.

Attendance – Must have school ID and present it to school officials.  Guests must also have their school ID or valid driver’s license.  Out of school guests will be pre-approved by the principal or designee by appointment only.  Guest registration forms may be picked up from the Tiger Den.

Students who are currently suspended, assigned to ISS, DAEP or expelled at the time of the dance are not allowed to attend.

All students are to remain at the prom.  Anyone who leaves the prom will not be allowed to return and must leave the premises.

Behavior – All school rules are expectations are enforced during the prom.  Out of school guests must adhere to CHS school rules and CISD policies.

There are no refunds for anyone who leaves the dance or is removed by a school district employee.

CHS is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items during the prom; this includes but is not limited to personal property and vehicles.

Any disciplinary infractions or removal from prom could result in non-participation in graduation activities.
